Abstract Ammonium nitrate is a hygroscopic and caking product for growing agricultural products. In order to improve the properties of ammonium nitrate, composition calcined crushed cathode material from used lithium ion battery was studied. Since mainly consists lithium, cobalt, manganese nickel, it has been adopted as polymicroelement-containing additive nitrate. Studies have shown that introduction powder into melt in amount 0.5-3.0 g relation 100 led an increase trace elements such nickel 0.0094 0.0527; 0.0561 0.2395; 0.0387 0.2860 0.0112 0.0387%, respectively.
